I think I'm going mad

I’ve hardly been on my bike all winter. The furthest I ever cycle in one go is 5 miles. My bike is crap. I don’t know when I would have time to train. And I’m sitting here looking at the entry form for the Manchester 100 – 100 miles or 100 km charity bike ride. 100 km is 62 miles. If I sent off my entry form and started getting sponsors, I’d have to do it. I’ve given myself 2 weeks to think about it ….

Is that in one day? It might be raining. I did a sponsored walk in rain once it was bad.

Rain, schmain - that's what Goretex jackets were invented for.

gortex cycling apparel (or indeed any cycling apparel) does not come in Fat Bird sizes. XXXXL on the label of a cycling jacket means "really very very large compared to Nicole Cook but not even going to look at you, fatso"

OMG, Clarrie, that would be so exciting. I am always so inspired by these people who run in marathons and that stuff, how cool would it be if you did this?
