Morning Mile

Since I started my walking challenge, I have walked every day. Mostly, I am finding it easiest to fit in walking after dropping O at school in the morning. Walking from school to the park, once round the park and back home is about a mile. This morning I walked a bit further because I had to go to pick up a prescription from the doctors, on the other side of the park. I think, I hope, I will be able to keep up doing a walk every day, and also walking instead of cycling for local errands. At least I will while the weather's nice. When Manchester falls back on to default setting (rainy with more rain), I might not be so keen.

don't you expect me to go pedometer walking next week. I'll be too full after the pizza

Great job on the walking, Clarrie!! I'm really glad that you're doing that for yourself -- doesn't it feel great?

Thanks Sarah - yes it does feel good. I just hope I can keep it up when the weather takes a turn for the worse.
